About TripVibz

The local take on every city.

Review sites tell visitors where to go based on people who were in town for a weekend. TripVibz asks the people who live there: what to skip, when not to come, and where they actually take their friends.

How it works

• Takes from locals. One or two sentences on what visitors get wrong, what's worth it, and when to go. Everyone votes True or Nope, so the best advice rises.
• Quick questions. One-tap polls like "Worth it, or skip it?", answered by the people who live there.
• Local badges. Signed-in people show how long they've lived in a city. A ✓ means they signed in from nearby.
• The month-by-month calendar. Festivals, conventions, weather and price seasons are researched by the TripVibz editors from official sources and checked monthly. Each one links to its source.

Who's behind it

TripVibz is built by James Overholt, who also publishes Miami Take, a South Florida travel site. Miami Take's most-read stories were always the things only a local would tell you, so TripVibz asks locals everywhere.
