Visiting Fort Lauderdale for a weekend: skip it. Ubers are plentiful if you are coming from Miami. Take the Brightline after 4pm-7pm traffic is crazy Fort Lauderdale Beach. Wonderful beach, lots of parking very chill Winter. Hands down the best time. Beaches are relatively empty, humidity is low but its till comfortable. Wonderful time to visit Las Olas on a Saturday night: worth it. Amazing restaurants, just a wonderful place to be, the bars near the center of town can get chaotic, Louie Bossi and… Avoid Fort Lauderdale in summer, because its hot. Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi: worth it. It's great for first timers, if you are in a hurry skip it
